OK ... anyone know exactly where the stop is for the Thruway Bus in SHR.

AMTRAK indicates it is "Exit 13 off IH 20, Shreveport Regional Airport"

I drove though there last week and never saw a sign, nor has CJ Limo called me back.

Well, I'm probably one of a few people here who has actually used the Shreveport Amtrak Thruway service, but unfortunately

I can't help you with this answer. That's because I used it back in 1999, when the Thruway stop was at a downtown hotel.

Furthermore, I was arriving into Shreveport via Amtrak, not departing, so I didn't have to worry about finding the precise

location.

But yeah, there really should be better info. The one thing in your favor is that the Shreveport airport is a sleepy little place,

so it shouldn't be too hard to figure out which bus/van is the correct one. There appear to be a couple of bus shelters in the

terminal roadway, so that would be a logical place to hang out.

The "Texas Eagle" website says there is an "Amtrak marked parking space directly across

from the baggage claim."

Maybe the "markings" are on the pavement as opposed to a sign?

That site also says that the service is provided by "Bossier City Limo" whereas the timetable

says the service is provided by "Lone Star Coach" (the same company that does Longview-Houston).

Whichever is true, that might be why "CJ Limo" isn't returning your calls.

You may want to try calling the airport itself: http://www.shreveportla.gov/airport/index.htm

Now you have me curious, so please report back what you find. :)

When I took the Eagle bus(Lone Star Bus Company) from Houston last December the driver told me that they had the Shreveport run also.
