I’ve read where the tickets purchased with AGR points don’t appear in the app. However, even the lookup doesn’t work. I also can’t look it up via the website.

I was able to view this AGR ticket in the app until about a week ago (purchased 11/30/19). Which means I could see it in app for over 2 months, then suddenly I can’t.

I have the ticket in my iPhone Wallet app. If I deleted the Amtrak app, would it delete the ticket too? I had the idea maybe reinstalling the app would bring the ticket back to the app but I don’t want to lose it from the Wallet app.

Just curious if anyone has had any recent experience. All I could find were some years-old topics.

Thanks.

I know trips purchased over the phone won’t show up on the website under My Trips, they have to be searched. It shouldn’t matter that you used points for the trip, if purchased via the app or online they should always show up in your app and online under My Trips. You should also have the emails with boarding passes attached and worst case you could print those out to use for boarding. Otherwise if your worried about the trip, call Amtrak and verify the trip is there and in good standing and if you still don’t see the trip in your app and/or via search, go ahead and delete your app and reinstall it. Personally, I would be a bit concerned that it’s not coming up on the website search.

I also just checked my app for a couple of trips I have purchased for June and both are there, one is points and the other dollars.

The points trips I mentioned in my post above were both booked via telephone...speaking with an agent on the AGR phone number. The trip I booked with under my wife's name (also points) comes up with a search on the app.

Yes, they should both be visible on the app as you stated. But if you go into your account on the website, as far as I know you’ll have to search for your reservation and it won’t show in “my trips” in your profile.
