Ok I think I'm confused. Is 540 the transdorm? That would be the only sleeper with a roomette #17 and I didn't think they actually sold the H room in the transition.
Photo #1 shows a transition sleeper. Notice small window at the front of the upper level.
Photo #2 shows a sleeper and diner. Sleeper has one small window on one end of lower level, two large and one small on the other end. Diner has none.
Photo #3 shows a regular coach with windows only on...
I could live with RC. Shasta on the other hand is a nogo due to them putting sucralose in all of their sodas not just in Diet. I am allergic to most artificial sweetners so if I ever become diabetic it will be water or unsweetened tea only for me.

Must be something with transitdocs. They show 7 as the Empire Builder to Everett and 8 as The Empire Builder to Sturtevant. 7 and 8 were completely missing on there for a couple weeks.
If I am not going to be on the train overnight then coach is fine by me. Since I require a Bi-Pap to sleep and prefer not to sleep sitting up any overnight trip will be in at least a roomette.
Nothing new has been posted on the page thirdrail linked to since 3/26/20. As far as I know a video of the incident in question has not been released. You can only go back 12 hours on YouTube live cameras.
For what it's worth I watched it on rewind that day and the Amtrak personnel seemed to...
