I had the same trouble. It was because I had a connection. When I checked each segment individually, I could get the points to show. Then I added them together to get the total.

(I am Jolycu). The question about business class being worth it is a moot point. They only offer business class on the St. Louis to Chicago section (less than 6 hours) and the Springfield, MA to DC section (a little over 7 hours.) Looks like reserved coach is the way to go!
