yeah but as another pointed out that averages to 1 or 2 a train per year, id imagine just in summer in one month theyd get 200. dont forget no long distance bus across canada that im aware of. anyone who doesnt fly and wants to use public transport to say edmonton, vancouver, toronto etc....i...

and some love to bash Amtrak but at least it often gives refunds/vouchers/pays hotels etc. Ive never had an airline reimburse me for delayed flights or even being stranded overnight at an airport.

yeah i find it hard to believe only 200 people use the saskatoon station. 2k maybe ok...but 200 hard to believe. guess anything is possible but id think theyd get 200 in one summer month alone.

i had a different company id applied for a card for, same company i already had a card for, they also asked me send ss info etc. when i asked they said had to do with some credit reporting act. when you say you had the paid card, was it under the Omaha bank or the previous bank amtrak partnered...

when on Number 2 last thursday just south of Sioux Lookout, we waited on a siding for number 1 (with rapido trains Jason shron onboard!) to pass.

station hosts use the stool in WRJ. On Vermonter route, at least in VT, its the station hosts/volunteers who handle the stool, conductors never touch one.

I live in St Albans, Vermont. Epicenter for the eclipse. It could be good but Vermont, especially along Lake Champlain, is notorious for cloud cover so good chance St Albans wont be the best place to see the eclipse. Could get lucky though and either way, it will be totally dark for three...

they say kamloops is in the middle of a rail yard and one cant get off the train unless disembarking there.
