Station is awesome on the inside. Old steamer sitting on an old alignment from yesteryear. Also have made arrangements for the second main to be active, and the station services required for that are already in place. Parking seemed to be appropriate and free.
The unit may have been running due to temperature constraints. Various railroads have rules about above what temperature unused units can be shut down or left in isolation when not needed for horsepower.
The official amtrak version runs on a javascript that times out after 10 minutes. I would think that this would be the reason as to why the non-amtrak branded map is used.
