oh, don't get me wrong.. I loved the deep dish pizza... they were quite filling and tasty. Just dont' taste like "pizza" to me... more like giant meat/veggie pies with crispy pie crust.
I didn't have enough time, but on the way back, I plan to check out Greek and Chinese food in Chicago. :)
I've been riding coast to coast on Amtrak for the last 6 and half days.
No need to describe the train rides, since anyone reading this must
know almost everything there is to know.

I have several Swiss friends who argue that Switzerland no longer needs a military. They say there is no point in spending billions of Swiss francs per year to maintain a military that does absolutely nothing to improve the security of Switzerland as a nation.

I rode the Auto Train once and that was probably the longest nonstop train I've ever been on. I watched them load my car and then boarded the train. After it pulled out of Lorton, I only remember the train stopping 3 times. None at stations... just somewhere along the route to stop and wait...
will the Avelia trains they ordered be equipped passenger ejection seats? (so you can be ejected to the platform when you've arrived at the station indicated on your ticket)

silly question... how can they not run out of water for the shower? I take long showers...okay, maybe 15-minute showers are not that long, but still...
the current system seems to have just one purpose... which is to keep tabs on passengers so they can be kicked off the trains at their correct destination.
does Amtrak think that passengers cannot be trusted to get off the train by themselves? :D
