Do you need to show a vaccination card or picture of one at CHI or WAS? I will have mine anyway but want to know if I need to have it handy to pull out immediately.

Also, do you need to wear a mask to go into the lounges?

I haven’t been out and about going to Amtrak lounges for a couple of years so am woefully out of date on what the rules are now.

Thanks!

There are no vaccine card or mask requirements for traveling on Amtrak or using its lounges at present.

To cover all bases I generally carry a mask in my pocket and I have the caertified vaccination record installed in my iPhone Wallet. So basically ready for all eventualities.

Just to clarify, while Amtrak does not have any mask or vaccine requirements, there may be mandates issued by local governments in place. For example, there is a mask mandate in Los Angeles County for all public transit, which would include Union Station in LA and it’s lounge. I don’t know if Chicago or WAS are subject to any such mandates, but it probably would be best to check for any such local rules before heading to the lounges there.
