Is the Eaglette missing its diner?
Whoops. I obviously don't know my Illinois geography very well.
I know that in 2021 the EB dropped off an SLL in a small town for emergency training for the local FD. Perhaps this was a similar situation?
I did think about that also. I had not read any posts on any railfan forum that described a situation where a diner was set out.
Having left a used cooler out in the sun a few times in my life, I wonder what that will smell like when it's brought back to service..
