The bins on the Acela are larger then any I’ve seen on an aircraft. Even oversized luggage shouldn’t be a problem.

My oversized flight crew luggage works roll aboard fit no problem. The lockers on the Acela are very large.

This isn’t true. I’ve had 85 wheelchairs passengers on a West Palm Beach to Boston flight during “migration” season. Now, there’s no way the flight will be on time, especially if you have a significant amount of aisle chair passengers on board, but no we don’t have a limit.

I don’t often upgrade to buisness on Amtrak because I’m usually on sub 2 hour trains. Where I have and always do is in Europe. The buisness class upgrades on OBB, Bahn, and Trenitalia is night and day. Far less crowded, far more space, and a very reasonable up-charge.
