Wonderful to hear your age of 93 Mr Beasley and riding AMTRAK! I'm 86 (fairly good health too) and planning a trip on AMTRAK from St Paul to East Glacier. And on to Seattle on the EB.

Thanks for information on Kalispell. One final question: This might seem like a dumb question for someone like myself who has experience with Amtrak trains being late. What is the likelihood of a delay on the Builder going from Seattle to East Glacier and the reverse trip?

Sorry to change the subject but I have a question: Next year my wife and I are planning to fly to Kelispell from SFO. Then somehow get to Glacier Lodge (East), stay 3 days and then take the Builder to Seattle. The question is, how do I get to Glacier Lodge from Kelispell? Anyone know? Thanks.

Thank you jimdex for the info on cleaning the Cresent in DC. The reason I asked is I am planning on getting a roomette on the Cresent 19 from DC to Birmingham and worried about the smell of the in room toilet! lol. Of course going back to DC may be a problem too. Has anyone experienced this?
