Slowest average scheduled speed between two scheduled stops? Cardinal Dyer/Chicago comes to mind. Northbound I get an average speed of just over 18 MPH! Southbound it's quite a bit faster, relatively speaking of course. Anything slower?

How often has anyone seen this? It's just after 11 AM PST and not one red train anywhere in the Amtrak system. A bunch of yellow ones, especially in the mid-West, but not a single red. Kind of like a no-hitter? Hint: this won't last very long.

Not much info but station master at CVS said that engine did something unexpected and engineer suffered bad whip-lash and needed medical attention. At least 20 years on the job and pretty clear he didn't do anything wrong. Amazing to me that it only set them back an additional 2.5 hrs at 4AM...
