    Amtrak Business Class

    Just completed a major trip DC-NYC-Toronto-Vancover. Rode business class DC-NYC on Northeaster, NYC-Toronto and Vancover-Seattle. I just don't think it worth the extra money. A lot to pay for free drink.

    Spilled my coffee this morning when I saw an Amtrak ad on a San Antonio, TX tv station. Been back in SA for 23 years and this is a first. Only ad they have ever had was on outfield fence at AA baseball park. Would be interesting to see if more new ads are being aired across the country.

    Saturday's #21 Eagle is bring down separate train set today, So for Sunday appears all three trains will be ready to go, #1,#2 and #22. Its been a long time since we have seen a 14 car Amtrak train arriving here.
