    Amtrak is using a SSL on this train! This clearly demonstrates that they are available. Yet, trains like the Capitol Limited still have not added an SSL back to the consist. Makes me wonder.

    If you feel you have the time, take the train up to Santa Barbara. Its an absolutely wonderful town to explore. The station is conveniently located to the downtown area.

    I've not had any delays when riding the Cascades. BNSF seems to do a great job with dispatching (unlike NS, which is abysmal).

    Yes! I finally saw a Coach-Baggage on a railcam tonight. Figures..... I'll be riding on June 7, so hopefully the SSL will be back by then.
