According to Amtrak Twitter, 92 had some sort of incident with a fallen tree. It must have been extraordinary because that caused a severe delay. The train is now running 11H 37M late. If anybody knows, please post the details so we can know why it took so long to get the train moving again,
Thanks,

Read on FB that they had to swap engines. Then when they reached Camden (or maybe before), the crew timed out.

Just wondering does Amtrak usually accommodate people on other trains in this situation for riders Boarding North of Cary, NC? Like 92 riders take trains 80 and 90. Or do they have to wait it out?

They will try to rebook people on remaining trains, but that depends on whether or not they can reach them in time and if there happens to be room on those trains.

It really helps if the passengers for the delayed train are paying attention and when they realize how late the train will be, reach out to Amtrak themselves.
