An acela lost power and got stranded near PVD. The folks on board were evacuated to an MBTA commuter near train via gangplank.

Which is sort of hilarious because the T has been barely functional for a month.

About a month ago I was riding NER 67 when something happened to the engine somewhere between Philadephia and Wilmington. We were rescued by a SEPTA train, which took us into Wilmington, where we boarded the next Regional to complete our journey to Washington. (On arrival in Washington, the train was turned back into #67, and it continued down to Newport News.
