I thought Sen Moran would have beaten him to it but I’m glad people are starting to take notice.

I suspect most or all of these picks will eventually be confirmed if the remaining open seats cause it to meet the geographic requirements. The idea is probably to hold it up until they have a complete slate including the required geographic diversity. One caveat is normally picks of the opposite party to the president are suggested by that party’s leadership. So it takes not just Biden administration engagement but also the republican leadership. But hopefully interested senators are actively involved in figuring out some other choices.

The picks that haven’t been made yet are the replacements for Jeffrey Moreland and Christopher Beall who are Republicans and must be replaced by Republicans.
