Amtrak COVID Policy (refund of points for cancellation)?

Hi. I’m going to Florida next month on the Star. However, I am going to need another spinal surgery, so there is a chance I may have to cancel (again) Can you still get all your AGR points refunded?

I did see that; however it does not specify reservations booked with points.

I'm pretty sure points are handled the same way as "cash". I recently cancelled both "cash" and points trips and received all my points back. That was when the "by date" was 9/30, I think.

You do have to CALL to cancel to get all your points/cash refunded. You can't do it online.
