Well, some of those times are definitely incorrect. We really did arrive in Chicago at 1:30 in the morning, not 8:25 PM.

It stopped updating at Trinidad, so those times were the predicted ETA (in italics) at that point.

Now there are two broken P42s between Kingman and Flagstaff.

Maybe it's time for Amtrak to make a "spot buy" of freight locomotives such as they did with the "Pepsi cans" while awaiting the Genesis deliveries. It looks like they're in a similar spot now as the Siemens units trickle in.

Most likely this will have some impact on Amtrak NEC service. NJT managed to derail one of its train in Penn Station New York.... (9/12/23)

Well, today is not a good day on the NEC in the DC area due to major Amtrak signal and switch failure between Washington and Bowie State University stations

majorly messed up my wife and I trying to take Amtrak from Metropark to NY Penn.. had to dump Amtrak and go with NJ Metro
