Sounds about right. It was in the early '80s when I was still living in PA, I drove over to Gladstone to ride the Lackawanna MU's one more time before they retired. There was a friendly crew on the train and on the way home they invited me into the cab to ride. my only RR cab ride so far. Loved those old MU's, they reminded me of the old slam door Southern Region EMUs I used to ride in the UK, made al the same sounds.Memory is vague but AFAIR it was 25kV by 1984 when the AC Arrow EMUs replaced the old Lackawanna DC EMUs in the Hoboken Division.
