Here's Amtrak's press release on this.

Following Monday's fire that destroyed a Canadian National/Illinois Central railroad trestle south of Chicago near Riverdale, Ill., Amtrak is temporarily re-routing two of its train services that normally travel the line where the trestle burned.  The detour, expected to last several weeks, affects four trains per day.
The City of New Orleans, Trains 58 and 59, (Chicago - New Orleans) and the Illini, Trains 391 and 392, (Chicago - Carbondale) both provide service with one northbound and one southbound train daily.  No other Amtrak service is affected.

As a result of the re-route, each train is experiencing a delay of approximately 60 to 90 minutes.  Despite these delays, the trains still serve all of their regularly scheduled station stops.

"We are working closely with our partner railroads in the area to limit the delays our passengers may experience as a result of this re-route," said Don Saunders, general superintendent of Amtrak's Central Division.
