Can't find any pictures, but the reporting is that a semi carrying cars go stuck on a crossing. The reporting is inconsistent. Some say it was in Richmond, but other articles mention San Pablo. I looked up the reported site, and it's definitely in Richmond.

The location is right next to a Pick-n-Pull, which sounds like where the cars were going to.

From the Chronicle article:

"The truck was pulling a trailer with approximately five wrecked vehicles. "

I had to read that a couple of times before I felt confident that what the reporter meant was that the five vehicles were already wrecked before the train hit them.

It seems this was a San Joaquin (from Bakersfield), the engine derailed, and they bustituted all the passengers for the rest of their journey, which I guess wasn't too far, as Richmond is near the terminus of this train.
