Booking issue

Well, we all know the famous OMA-CBS loophole is dead (RIP). However, I noticed something interesting on amtrak's website. I was trying to book omaha-Minneapolis as a normal routing, and it wouldn't do that routing. DEN-MSP is possible but amtrak will no longer allow you to book anything east of Denver to MSP or CBS. This saddens me because I was thinking about doing this trip in coach and I liked all the guaranteed connections.

I just tried putting in OMA -> CBS & KWD -> CBS Both came up with the "normal" routing (SWC, CS & EB) What routing did it give you?

I'm just dumb, I forgot to change from round trip to one way. I have the routing now. That's called "user error."
