Cal Zephyr Sides

Alright y'all, I'm getting ready to do the Cal Zephyr, east and westbound between Emeryville and Reno. Is there a favorable side to be on or is it six to one half dozen the other? All feedback welcome!

On the right side from Reno to Emeryville, for best views of Donner Lake as the train climbs into the Donner Pass, then left side closer to Auburn for a good view of the canyon middle fork of the Sacramento River. It would be the reverse going from Emeryville to Reno.
