Chillicothe MO Amtrak stop

Has there ever been a request to add a Chillicothe MO stop to the Southwest Chief, which would be midway between LaPlata and Kansas City?

The Southwest Chief does not actually operate through Chillicothe. It does run through Marceline, not too far away, where there was a stop until the 1990s, IIRC.
