Coast Starlight LAX SEA trip report

Hi all

Being based in Australia I don't get as many opportunities as I'd like to travel on Amtrak trains, but did make a big tour in 2018 / 2019 before all the borders slammed shut.

I wrote articles on some of the trains I caught that I thought might be of interest. Amazing trip! I also included some of my photos - happy to copy the text in here if more appropriate? My trip on the Coast Starlight

I share your frustration with those passengers who "take over" the SSL and don't return to their coach seats from time to time. It seems to me that if they obviously become "bedded down for the night", the Conductor ought to get them moved. Their coach seats would be more comfortable for the night that any SSL seating would be.
