Delayed NYP Departures 1/1/18

What has delayed the departures of 19, 49, and 97 today? Possibly frozen cars in Sunnyside?

Perhaps. Or maybe late arriving trains from the previous day. I know that 48 did not arrive until after midnight.

Besides the cars being frozen, I’m now hearing overhead wires are having issues and they’re single tracking causing 90 min delays.

Last I checked 19 still hasn’t left. 97 & 49 left about 2-1/2 hours ago.
