You're right, about barely recognizing it...I worked there for ten years, and there is little recognizable, other than the 'head house' structure. Including the surrounding area...the difference is unreal. I did briefly go through there this past January, when arriving on No. 6, and then catching the airport train. I took about an hour to go over all of it.
 
Some years back on the EB when I queried an Engineer as he walked towards the front of the train, about possible variances in station time, I'll forever treasure his genial response, which was that he was leaving at a certain time, with or without me.

Not being sarcastic about how I felt, loved the honesty.
 
I had an conductor that said his record was over 30 at one stop. This whole group got off the train and headed to the "historic" depot, he warned then about when the train was leaving and they just said "ok". When the time to leave came, they were still not back and they left.
