I have done both the Vermonter and the Montrealer. In fact I have done all Amtrak trains to Canada except the International and anything before mid '80s.

Of the Regional trains I have done all NC service including the Carolinian, the Newport News, Norfolk and Roanoke Regionals. Keystones and Pennsylvanian. Empire Service, and routes including the Ethan Allen and as previously mentioned service to Canada. Downeaster to Brunswick. I did the Atlantic City service when it ran.

In California I have ridden the San Diego service, the San Louis Obispo service, the San Joaquin its entire length both from Emeryville and Sacramento. The Capitol service. I have also been on all of the Cascades services.

Out of Chicago - Hiawatha, Quincy, St. Louis and then onto Kansas City (on the Mule), Carbondale, Grand Rapids, upto Ann Arbor. Incidentally did Port Huron way back on the International when it ran, but not recently on Port Huron terminating service.

Of the discontinued service I have been on the late lamented Broadway Limited its alter-ego Three Rivers, the Desert Wind, the Pioneer in all three incarnations....

I mught have a missed a few that is not coming to my mind right now.
Has anyone taken the Cape Codder? NYP to Hyannis.

I've taken the MBTA-operated Cape Flyer.

I know that in its last season in 1996 I was in the car with my Mom when we picked my Dad up in Hyannis, I was 6 at the time and distinctly remember being completely asleep the entire time we picked him up and drove back the Welfleet where my extended family had rented a house.

I am thoroughly impressed, probably one of the youngest on here to have that much mileage! Although I must say, I didn't realize that Amtrak renamed the San Joaquin service to San Joachim before now... ;)

And you gotta get on some Metrolink trains!! (Depending on the line I'll wave to ya :)

Well I can never remember exactly how that one service is spelled. I have hit a lot of that milage because of PVs though. Almost all of it I've been attached to a car at some point in time or another. The Michigan Trains came with my private car actually as my best friend lives in Michigan so I would take them in or out of Michigan to then road trip down to Indy.
