Hi everyone, just thought I'd introduce myself.
My name is Thom. I live in Chicago now, but have previously lived in Japan and the Netherlands. I'd say my love for trains comes from being a commuter in those countries. Now that I live in the states, I grown more and more interested in Amtrak and the many American urban transit systems as well. I have been fortunate enough to ride the Southwest Chief, Empire Builder, Lake Shore Limited, NER, and Downeaster, as well as many of the Midwestern trains.
