Is the AutoTrain still the longest nonstop Amtrak train?

What do you mean by nonstop? It's basically the only train in Amtrak's system that only takes passengers from point to point. So it's definitely the longest train from point to point. There is a crew change though, so they have to stop by design.

The crew change and service stop, both directions is at Florence, SC. Our SCA said it can be a "fresh-air" stop if they're not running late. I don't know if it was when we rode; slept right through it.

FWIW ..... Our trip in May, it was 50 cars total. 17 passenger and 33 auto carriers.

Florence is MP 292.7 and Sanford 766.1, so this run is a bit less than 473 miles (there are short mileposts around Charleston and Jacksonville).

The CALIFORNIA ZEPHYR runs 263 mis. non-stop Salt Lake City-Elko, so the A-T wins hands down!
