Rail passengers have complained of being thrown from their seats and hit by falling luggage after a train came to a sudden stop.

Whilst the train undoubtedly experienced an emergency stop, the passengers thrown from seats, etc, seems to have been caused by the Lumo train entering points (switches) at excessive speed, hence the side to side sway and jolting as the train suddenly changed direction... Investigation underway...

Itb does sound like the train by accident switched which caused the abrupt side to side motion, which in turn caused a automatic stopping of the train.
