In California on business and had today off so I bought a $10 day pass. Could have exploited it a lot more, but decided to keep it to daylight hours.
Basically rode the Antelope Valley line round trip.
Walked around the City Hall.

LAUS is still beautiful, but the waiting areas are cordoned off and inside smells like puke.

Rode in the Bomardier Bi Level.
Tried out the Hyundai Rotem (?) Cab car. Seats were ALL facing away from LA, and they were very tall so you can't see over them.
Saw lots of RVs parked on the streets, used as housing. Homeless issue is a big problem here. I hear some choose that lifestyle, but dang. One was completely burnt out.
The mountains between Sylmar and Palmdale were beautiful! A very slow ride (20-30 mph) but well worth the cost of admission!
