Which lines will be the next ones in NYC to get CBTC?

Also, wouldn't it be cheaper and faster to install UWB on the Lexington Avenue subway instead of conventional CBTC equipment?

Singapore has full CBTC and conductorless trains. The whole slowdown of CBTC is due to contractors taking advantage of the system. I realize Singapore has a much smaller train network but if you take their progress, it occurs much faster without labor union issues and dragged out projects. Their infrastructure is superior to ours and their build time has been exemplary, hence the amazing Changi airport and clean and modern rail system.

At the rate the MTA does CBTC, you can wait forever. Only a small fraction will ever get done.
