Due to a mudslide between Seattle, WA and Portland, OR, BNSF has temporarily closed a section of track used by Amtrak.  Some Amtrak trains, including the Coast Starlight and the Cascades, will be affected and alternate transportation will be provided by Amtrak.  Normal service is scheduled to resume on Tuesday, March 11, at 11:00 am PST.  Passengers traveling in this area will experience some delays and are advised to call 1 (800) USA-RAIL for the most up-to-date information.
The above press release can be found here on Amtrak's website.
