Hi! I’ve been reading this forum for quite some time but finally joined officially. Trains and ships are my favorite forms of travel; I’m originally from New England and used to take the NE Regional quite frequently. I’m back here for a visit with family and consider myself fortunate to have taken the last LSL before the storm came! Service has been suspended for a few days I guess. I do like long distance trains and have taken the Texas Eagle from Chicago to San Antonio before the pandemic (sleeper car with points!) and have done sections of Silver Service. I look forward to riding the Empire Builder and Zephyr at some point too. In addition, I enjoy European trains and have taken EuroStar under the Chunnel from England to Paris. It’s good to be part of the discussion forum!
