Two heavyweights coaches (6 axles) travel East towards Albany NY, marked for Ohio Central on the back of a CSXT freight train today.

Wonder what the final deliver location will be?

Those cars were just sold by Age of Steam roundhouse. No idea the destination. Maybe Adirondack scenic as they are actively looking for more cars.

Train was already pass Utica. The train was in Amsterdam, however the train may not be doing local switching so maybe...

Happy to hear Adirondack Scenic has growth that requires new equipment.

Anytime you shop in freight service it seams you have some odd routes. Here’s a case and point. I was looking at putting a car I was buying in a town an hour away from where I live. Mostly because a friends father owns a spur and wasn’t going to charge me.

Here was the last two days of routing.

It’s scheduled to move two extra times it doesn’t need to.
