Ottumwa, IA Rental Car Question

Does anyone know what the rental car situation is like in Ottumwa, IA?

Are there any agencies in town that will meet #5 (or leave a car at the station) with a rental car?

Do not know if they will meet you at the station, but there are 2 car rental places.

1. Hertz Rental at 1311 Vaughn Drive Phone is 641-682-1664. Open Mo-Fr 0730-1730

2. Enterprise Rental at 302 W SECOND STREET Phone is 641- 682-2020. Open Monday thru Friday 8:00 to 6:00 and Saturday morning.

I have rented from the Hertz Rental onec before. It is located in a car dealership.

There are 2 cab companies in Ottumwa: Otumwa Cab (641) 682-5461 and R & B Cab (641) 682-1858

I have used the Ottumwa cab. I know that it runs late at night. We got into Ottumwa at 3o in the morning once when the train was detour back to Chicago because of a trestle fire. We took the cab to a hotel, then in the morning we took it to the car rental place.

The Enterprise location is in sight of the depot, so it seems convenient.
