Noticed that Pennsylvanian 42 was running close to ontime until after Lancaster Pa, where it now is 3+ hours down. Westbound 43 was held up in Philly all afternoon. Anyone know of an accident or freight derailment in that area?

I heard on FB that 42 is pushing a dead Keystone at about 20 miles per hour (I think). We had a wicked storm come through around 1:00 pm today that messed with the wires between PHL and TRE and the trains are still trying to catch up

I also heard the power went out at the Philly call center, so maybe PHL's power went out???

"keystone didn't have power at paoli because there is a blackout"

There were some serious storms in the Philly area between 12 and 1pm. I was out with the girls at a Mickey D's Drive Through when they hit. Thank the good Lord that we were safe the whole time. But coming home I saw some nasty damage.

Amtrak has posted on their website and social media that the call center in the Northeast is without power. My opinion is that's what they get for closing the one in Riverside.

It was a double header today with a second severe storm, complete with tornado-like wind rotations, hitting Philly at around 7:45pm.

43 left PHL at 621pm and then got stuck between there and PAO. Left PAO at 838pm.

Looks like significant delays again on the Pennsylvanian the last few days. . Also operating with an NS freight loco on the lead the last two days. Lost an hour between Harrisburg and Lewistown today. ??

The westbound 43 had a major issue with Cab Signals and PTC just after leaving Altoona at the "Brickyard". The Eastbound train was given a NS leader to Harrisburg for today. Not sure about today's Westbound train yet.
