Purchased coach ticket, then AGR room at Wolf Point: allowed?

Coming from Oxnard,CA we have enough points for both a 1-zone roomette Reward to Glacier, and also a 2-zone roomette Reward. We'll stop in E.Glacier for a couple days, then continue on to Washington DC on the EB and CL. Problem is, we'd have to get to Wolf Point,MT to use our 2-zone Reward for the rest of the trip. If we purchase a coach ticket from E.Glacier to Wolf Point, is there any problem involved with walking down to our sleeper at the Wolf Point stop? This seems to good to be true. Has anyone done this before?

Yes I've done it, and no it's no problem. If you're going to be in a Seattle sleeper and have lots of luggage, you might want to move it to the sleeping car early at a stop where you'll have more time, like Shelby or Havre. Talk to the conductor and your future sleeping car attendant when you board at East Glacier.

I have done the same thing just this past March. Talk to the conductor and if the room is unoccupied, you may be allowed to occupy it earlier than Wolf Point (which is a very quick stop BTW). At the very least, they may allow you to store your baggage in the sleeping car, starting in Havre or Shelby - or maybe even East Glacier! (No guarantees that would happen, but it's possible.)
