refund question

hi,

does anyone know if there are any cancellation fees for, say the Cal. Zephyr going from Chicago to Omaha? The website indicates there may be a fee but is not specific. I'm talking about coach. I can't call the 800 number from overseas so hoping one of you will know.

Scott,

That all depends on what type of coach ticket you buy. If you have a standard ticket then there should be no cancellation fees.

If however you buy or brought a ticket that carries restrictions, like a railsale ticket or a ticket that was on sale, then you may not even be able to cancel the ticket let alone get a refund at all.
