So, in 2 weeks, my friend and I are taking a trip from salt lake city to omaha. Because of the timing of the train, we have to park his car at the station overnight. So, does such parking exist? Does it cost? Is it safe? Thanks!

There is a small parking lot near the station. There is no charge for parking, but it is not the best part of town. It's generally a safe area, but I wouldn't wander around there at night by myself. This is an industrial area, very near a park where most of the homeless hang out. If I left a car there, I would make sure everything is out of sight & locked up. We usually have someone drop us off at the station, or take a cab. Enjoy your trip.
