All Trains Delayed At Baltimore Penn Station, Police Investigating Reports Of Suspicious Package

The station evacuated a portion of the lobby leading to the last track. Travelers were pushed to the entrance and side corridors.

Another passenger said he was on a 3:45 p.m. train to D.C. when police told him to quickly evacuate the train. He ran out and has been waiting ever since.

MARC Penn Line is advancing trains as far north of Union Station in D.C. as possible. The extent of the delay is still unknown.

IN TRUE AMTRAK TRADITION WE WERE JUST TOLD WE WOULD BE MOVING SOON AND WERE STOPPED DUE TO HEAVY TRAFFIC.

YUP, YA CLOSE BAL ANS THERES GONNA BE HEAVY TRAFFIC!

I am so glad I am retired. If I were working, I would be caught up in this. (Though I guess I could take the Camden Line and light rail in a pinch.)

I was on 193 and we missed it. I was so relieved to be on a later train.
