Silver Star Cancelled Today (11/12/20)

I received notification that the Silver Start has been cancelled for today I was traveling from DLD to BAL. I was rebooked for tomorrow. Just an FYI!

I guess the main concern would be flooding. Am I correct?

I believe CSX shut down due to the hurricane/tropical storm.
They may have removed the crossing arms at grade crossings due to expected high winds.

It is pretty wet and windy here in Central Florida. SunRail has suspended service today.

The Tampa Airport was also closed - they ae working on getting it back open now the ETA is nearing Jax. (It is passing us now) Since the Star goes through Jax before leaving Florida I would imagine they wanted to cover all problem areas before they ran trains down the tracks

I missed this one...drove up to NY Sunday...my wife is still there, but says Palm Beach County didn’t get hit bad...
