From my past experience riding the Surfliner, I recall a single-level Horizon consist was used for one northbound and one southbound train. Does anyone know if they still use this, and if so what train number(s) it operates on?
I ask because last year heading from LA to SD I took the Surfliner and ended up with single-level equipment, and want to avoid that this time. Much prefer the bilevel California cars (or even better, a Superliner if one is in the consist as was the case frequently).
