A short piece in today's UK Guardian newspaper promoting slow train travel.
It's a journey we haven't heard of before, Barcelona to Cadiz with a number of interesting stops so could make it a return journey travelling direct to Cadiz and stopping 2 or 3 times on the return. Come to think of it there's a beautiful rail journey from Clermont Ferrand (near to us) down to the Spanish border, hmmm, sounding more interesting to me the more I write. Shall put it on the must-do list.

Light on train detail but still an inspriing read...

Rail route of the month: Barcelona to Cádiz, the slow train right across Spain

Note: Check out the ticket prices.
