Suggestions for Cardinal Trip?

I am travelling round trip on the Cardinal this coming Friday RT between Cincinnati, OH and White Sulphur Springs, WV. If anyone has any suggestions on what to keep my eyes open for I would appreciate it. If I have a choice, which side of the train would you recommend sitting on to see the most stuff? I also am planning on taking a tour on Sat. morning of Cinncinati Union Terminal and the freight yard tower that is now run as a museum by the local railroad club. Will post pics and trip report upon my return. Thanks for any info!

Try to stay on the same side of the train as the river. For most of the trip, the other side will just be trees and rocks.
