Arrived STL 6hr, 17min late.

I think the pattern is returning. I took the Texas Eagle from DAL to CHI on 6/7 March. It arrived shortly after midnight, about 8 hours late. The diner crew put on a marvelous “special” dinner (just out of St. Louis) of beef tips on rice, which brought applause from the customers. It was really good, and a welcome change from the menu. My return trip from CHI back to DAL on 12/13 March arrived 3 and 30 minutes hours late.

Unfortunately Bill we are getting into the summer which means hot days, heat orders, and more derailments. I seriously hope that we don't face the type of derailments that we did last year with Crescent City and Kensington, but it is impossible to know. Trains are growing capacity wise so looked for more packed coaches, sleepers, diners, and lounges.
