I had two railroad spottings today one my way to and from Jupiter, FL today (I was going up for the Marlins-Cardinals Spring Training game, Marlins won 7-3 fortunately). On my way to Jupiter I spotted Amtrak RoadRailer AMTZ430031 going Westbound on I-595 at Davie Blvd, time 1040. While on I-95 going north I spotted Tri-Rail P645 going south at Milepost SX982.2 (just north of NE Boynton Beach) with Engine 807 (Morrison Knudsen 1992) at 1111. Beautiful afternoon for baseball in Jupiter (not too far from the FEC, but nothing heard on the scanner the entire game. Going southbound on I-95 I spotted another RoadRailer, this time AMTZ410067 going North towards JAX at Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. time 1632. All in all a good day, hoping for a few more sightings tomorrrow, as the Marlins and Cardinals will do it again in Jupiter again at 1305 (the Marlins will be the home team this time though).
