Ticket Exchange

Hey everyone. About two months ago I bought a round trip ticket from Charleston SC to Newark NJ so that i could go home on leave. But earlier today, I found out that my leave was getting pushed back a week. So my question is this, could I use my current tickets which are valid for travel on the 9th and 25th of November to travel home on the 17th of November and return on the 4th of December? Or would i have to trade them in for new tickets for those dates, and possibly pay any difference in the fare? As always the help is greatly appreciated.

You definately must exchange the tickets for new ones, they will not be honored unless you get a conductor who is not paying attention.

I don't know if Amtrak might cut you some slack since you're on active duty regarding any possible price increases or not, but I sure would ask.
